Narrative: This class was essentially the SPAN 425, but with Chicano literature. This class is what ultimately led me to writing my capstone about identity. Most of the characters were looking at who they were and looking at internal problems that led to the choices that they made in their life. Pocho was the novel that I liked the most and the book I centered my capstone on. The books we read in this class had the same descriptiveness and the same ability to put you in the story and that was something I enjoyed about this class.
