Narrative: While many dreaded going to this class because of its lack of content and being on a Friday, this was a helpful course in getting us acquainted with our major, both Japanese and Spanish majors took this class together and we got to see their requirements as well. We looked at key parts of our graduation requirements like this e-portfolio and our capstone requirements too. We heard from others who majored in Spanish or Japanese and we saw what they have done after they graduated. We also visited the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey and saw what opportunities lie there. This was a helpful course that got us well acquainted with our major and what we could expect from it.
